Police are responding to a crime scene where a 42-year-old male victim is shot in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on May 18, 2024. At approximately 12:29 a.m., Saturday morning, police are arriving at the 3200 block of W. Irving Park Rd. The 42-year-old male victim is in a verbal altercation with an unidentified male suspect who is showing a firearm and shooting the victim before fleeing. The victim is sustaining one gunshot wound to the abdomen and hand and is being transported to the hospital where he is listed in fair condition.
