An emotionally disturbed person, a 26-year-old male, is being shot and killed by officers after charging at NYPD officers with a knife in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on May 26, 2024. At approximately 2:20 a.m., Sunday morning, in front of 155 Eldert Street, two police officers are finishing up a call for service, and while the two officers are sitting in their vehicle, the male is hitting the vehicle. When confronting the individual, the male is holding two knives. Officers are using tasers, then discharging their weapons.
