49-year-old Male Rideshare Driver Shot And Carjacked In Chicago Illinois

Evidence markers placed at the crime scene where shell casings were located as a Rideshare driver was shot and carjacked in Chicago, Illinois. 49-year-old male Rideshare driver wounded in a shooting and carjacking of his vehicle in Chicago, Illinois, United States on June 15, 2024. At approximately 9:01 p.m., Saturday evening on the 200 block of N. Latrobe Avenue, a 49-year-old male Rideshare driver was providing the ride share service when an unidentified male suspect entered through the rear door of his vehicle and pointed a firearm at the victim while demanding him to exit the vehicle. The Rideshare driver complied and while doing so, the suspect shot the victim in the leg before fleeing the scene in the victim's gray sedan.
