Ancient Great Wall Digital Protection
Workers are conducting an on-site survey and data collection of trenches and walls at the narrowest part of the Great Wall of the Han and Ming Dynasties in Zhangye, China, on June 27, 2024. In recent years, Shandan County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is using remote sensing surveying and mapping technology and UAV oblique photography technology to carry out three-dimensional reconstruction of the Xiakou Ancient City site and other Great Wall sites, and is setting up digital protection measures such as a control network and a three-dimensional system of remote sensing data display.
