Nepal's to-be Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is arriving at the Nepali Congress Headquarters in Lalitpur, Nepal, on July 2, 2024. Nepali Congress and CPN-UML, led by Oli, are striking a midnight deal on July 2, 2024, to form a new alliance, leaders from both parties are confirming. With this, the new government formed on March 4 is set to collapse.
