Cooperative Scam Victims Protest In Kathmandu
''Victims'' of cooperative organizations stage a demonstration in Kathmandu, Nepal, on September 1, 2024, demanding prosecution of the scammers and refund of their savings. Under the leadership of the Sahakari Bachatkarta Samrakshyan Rastriya Abhiyan (Mahasangh) or the cooperative depositors protection national campaign (Federation), an organization dedicated to protecting the interests and rights of individuals who save money through cooperative societies in Nepal, victims gather to voice their grievances.
