40-year-old Man Kavon Reid Shot And Killed Outside Of A Senior Center In Bronx New York

A 40-year-old man, Kavon Reid, is shot and killed in Bronx, New York, United States, on October 2, 2024. On Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 1:47 p.m., Kavon Reid is shot on East 198th Street and Pond Place. The NYPD responds to East 198th Street and Bainbridge Avenue where the victim collapses. Police officers discover 40-year-old Reid with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg, unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responds and transports the victim to the hospital where he is pronounced dead.
