Aftermath of massive Russian missile and drone attack in Kyiv
In Kyiv, Ukraine, on November 17, 2024, workers of the State Emergency Service and forensic experts examine part of a Russian missile that hits a five-storey apartment building in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. In the recent massive attack, Russian troops launch 210 aerial targets--120 missiles and 90 drones--targeting mainly the energy sector facilities across Ukraine. Ukraine's Defence Forces shoot down 102 rockets and 42 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine since the evening of November 16, while 41 UAVs disappear from radars.
