Tijuana Joins Mexico’s First Largest Boxing Class

Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Avila and Tijuana Mayor Ismael Burgueno, along with internationally renowned boxers from the state of Baja California, lead a group of hundreds of people on Revolution Avenue in downtown Tijuana, Mexico, on April 6, 2025, in a nationwide effort by Mexico in their first largest boxing class. This event aims for a World Guinness Record and is part of an outreach program by the federal government in drug prevention with recreational activities for young people and families.
