Mexico Unveils Countdown Clock To The 2026 World Cup With Alessandro Del Piero, Former Italian Footballer And FIFA Ambassador

On June 11, 2025, in Mexico City, Mexico, Clara Brugada, head of government of Mexico City; Alessandro Del Piero, former Italian footballer and FIFA ambassador; and officials from tourism and Banorte Bank unveil the countdown clock to the 2026 World Cup in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. As part of the start of this countdown, the city also turns green.
