Wildfire Affects Mediterranean Scrub Near Otranto
A Canadair (Viking Air 415, known as Canadair CL-415) aircraft operated by Vigili del Fuoco prepares for another pass over the wildfire zone near Otranto, in the southern region of Puglia, Italy, on July 10, 2025. -The blaze, fueled by strong maestrale winds, scorched over 150 hectares of vegetation along the Adriatic coast.
