21-year-old Jontay Davis Found Fatally Shot To The Head Outside Of St. Barnabas Hospital Within The Confines Of The 48 Precinct In New York City

NYPD crime scene unit investigators recover evidence and place hoodies and blood samples into evidence bags at the scene outside of St. Barnabas Hospital where 21-year-old Jontay Davis is found fatally shot in the head within the confines of the 48th precinct in Bronx, New York, United States, on September 2, 2025. On Tuesday at approximately 2:00 AM, NYPD police officers observe a 21-year-old man identified as Jontay Davis with a gunshot wound to the head, in the rear of St. Barnabas Hospital located at 4422 Third Avenue. EMS responds and transports the male to Saint Barnabas Hospital where he is pronounced dead. There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
