San Antonio Missions National Historic Site

The Mission San Jose (Mision San Jose y San Miguel de Aguayo) is established in 1720. It is designated the San Jose Mission National Historic Site in 1941. The historic site is administratively listed on the National Register on October 15, 1966. The church, which is still standing, is constructed in 1768. Through a partnership between the US National Park Service and the Arch Diocese of San Antonio, Texas, USA, Sunday church services (in both English and Spanish) are still conducted there.
