Visually Impaired Students Read Braille Quran During Ramadan In Indonesia

In South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, on February 26, 2026, a visually impaired student reads a Braille Quran at Raudlatul Makfufin Boarding School. The Braille Quran translates Quran verses into Braille symbols, which blind and visually impaired Muslims use to recite the Quran. The Islamic boarding school has 29 visually impaired students who read the Quran three times a day during the month of Ramadan. (Photo by Agoes Rudianto/NurPhoto)
