Tarahuamara Women
A Yumare is a special celebration that the Tarahumara indigenous communities hold to commemorate special occasions, in this case, the 10-year anniversary of the village school. Before it is built, children have to walk up to 4 hours to get to school. Most Tarahumara women live in the Sierra of Chihuahua, Mexico. Without electricity or running water, they live in sync with the environment and nature in an ancestral way.
