Mobile World Congress

A demonstration of the LIG Nex1 Vision 60 (Q-UGV), an all-weather quadrupedal unmanned ground vehicle designed for military and tactical operations, takes place at the LIG Nex1 defense technology pavilion during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on March 5, 2026. The robot is powered by an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge computing module, which processes high-level autonomous navigation and real-time sensor fusion for ''Manned-Unmanned Teaming'' (MUM-T) operations. The sensory head unit is equipped with a dual-camera system featuring a 12-megapixel high-definition RGB optical sensor for day surveillance and a 640x512 resolution thermal imaging camera for night operations. The platform integrates a 360-degree 3D LiDAR system for complex terrain mapping and obstacle avoidance, enabling the robot to traverse sand, rock, and stairs at speeds up to 3 meters per second. The unit is showcased with its IP67-rated waterproof chassis, specialized for reconnaissance, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) support, and perimeter security in contested environments, utilizing a dedicated 5G-Advanced secure communication link for low-latency remote command.
