The idols of Ganesh, Bhairav, Bhagwati, and Ashta Matrika are honored with a special chariot procession in the old marketplace of Ason in Kathmandu. In the local Newa: language, ''Paha'' means guest and ''Chahre'' means Chaturdashi. This day is also known as ''Pishach Chaturdashi.''
