FBI Evidence Response Team Processes Scene And Collects Evidence Following Discovery Of Suspicious Device On Odell Avenue In White Plains New York

Members of the FBI Evidence Response Team execute a search warrant inside 11 Odell Avenue and bring out several pieces of collected evidence following the discovery of a suspicious device on Odell Avenue in White Plains, New York, United States, on March 31, 2026. On March 30, 2026, the White Plains Police Department responds to a possible transformer explosion in the area of Odell Avenue at approximately 4:28 AM. Units conduct checks of numerous transformers but find no evidence of damage. The situation changes at approximately 6:08 AM, when a White Plains police officer observes what appears to be a small explosive device near the doorway of an apartment building at 11 Odell Avenue. Additional units respond to establish a perimeter, and residents in the vicinity are instructed to shelter in place as a precautionary measure. The device is successfully secured.
