A 3.5-month-old proboscis monkey plays in the Batu Secret Zoo enclosure in Batu city, East Java, Indonesia, on April 14, 2026. The birth of these proboscis monkeys brings the total number at Batu Secret Zoo to 10. The proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus) is an endemic primate native to the island of Kalimantan (Borneo) in Indonesia, as well as in Malaysia and Brunei.
