Recovered Dacian gold artifacts exhibited in Bucharest

Cornel Constantin Ilie, interim director of the National History Museum of Romania, speaks during a media presentation of a ceremonial gold helmet and two gold bracelets at the National History Museum of Romania in Bucharest, Romania, on April 21, 2026. The artifacts, attributed to the ancient Dacian civilization and dating to around 450 BC, were recovered after being stolen in 2025 in the Netherlands and have now been returned to Romania.
