Man Fatally Slashed Multiple Times In Attack At East 233 Street And White Plains Road

Members of the NYPD Crime Scene Unit work at the scene where a man was fatally slashed multiple times at East 233 Street and White Plains Road, Bronx, New York, United States, on May 1, 2026. On May 1, 2026, at approximately 6:37 AM, police responded within the confines of the 47 Precinct and found a man with slash wounds to the neck, head, and left arm. EMS transported the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased is pending.
