Foreign diplomats visit Kyiv apartment block hit by Russian missile

Foreign journalists work outside a nine-storey apartment block in the Darnytskyi district, Kyiv, Ukraine, on May 15, 2026. A Russian missile, reportedly a Kh-101, struck the residential building at around 3:00 a.m. local time on May 14, causing a section to collapse. The incident resulted in the deaths of 24 people, including three children, and injured 48 others.
