Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park is photographed in Bryce City, Utah, on May 6, 2026. Bryce Canyon, located in southwestern Utah, is a national park in the United States known for its giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The park is notable for its geological structures called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of sedimentary rock. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks offer distinctive views for visitors. Bryce Canyon National Park is smaller and at a higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park, with the rim varying from 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 meters).
