Indonesian Muslims Parade Goats The City Streets On Eid Al-Adha Celebration

Hundreds of goats are paraded through the city streets for 1.5 kilometers by residents in Malang City, East Java, Indonesia, on May 27, 2026. This tradition of parading livestock before they are slaughtered for the Eid al-Adha celebration dates back to 1970 and is organized by residents of Temenggungan Village and Kidul Pasar Village. The event is an annual occurrence during the Eid al-Adha celebration, held after the Eid prayer. (Photo by Aman Rochman/NurPhoto)
