Vesak Festival In Indonesia
Buddhist devotees place written wishes on the Bodhi Tree of Hope during Vesak Day celebrations at Tunjungan Plaza in Surabaya, East Java, on May 30, 2026. The largest transparent Buddha statue in Indonesia, made from approximately 12,360 meters of stainless steel wire and weighing one ton, stands 5.6 meters tall and 4.6 meters wide.
