Gaudi's Capricho In Comillas
Detail of the relief tiles with the representation of a sunflower serve as decoration on the facade of La Villa Quijano, popularly known as El Capricho, a modernist building located in the Cantabrian town of Comillas, Spain. It was designed by Antonio Gaudi between 1883 and 1885, commissioned by Maximo Diaz de Quijano, and is one of the few works of Gaudi outside of Catalonia. (Photo by Joaquin Gomez Sastre/NurPhoto)
