Aftermath Storm and flood in Skopje

Mazedonien (FYROM), Skopje, on 8 August 2016. On Saturday and Sunday night, August 6th and 7th, heavy rains around in and around Skopje caused multiple flash floods and mudslides. The government declared a state of emergency for the affected areas in the suburbs of Macedonias capital that as of now have no access to drinking water or electricty. The storm so far has claimed 21 people dead and several missing. Multiple organisations called the pubic for help and donations for money, water, canned food basic hygiene products. On Monday, August 8th, the NGO "Ljubeznost" called for public donations in front of the VERO JUMBO CENTER which were later brought out to the suburb STAIJKOVTSI by volunteers.
