Indonesia Police Display Evidence From Three Corruption Cases

Evidence seized during a joint corruption investigation is displayed during a press conference at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 10, 2026. The evidence is collected from searches conducted at 13 locations as part of an ongoing investigation by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police and the National Police's Corruption Crime Directorate (Kortastipidkor). Investigators are examining three separate cases involving alleged bribery and money laundering linked to state insurers PT Asabri and PT Asuransi Jiwasraya, alleged corruption in the coal sector related to a power plant blackout, and alleged corruption involving debts between PT Citra Bintang Sembilan (CBS) and PT Kertas Nusantara Indonesia (KNI). Police state that the seized items form part of the evidence in the corruption, bribery, and money laundering investigations. Authorities have yet to announce any suspects as the investigation continues. (Photo by Faisal Ramadhan/NurPhoto)
