Studying chess in Azerbaijan
A chess board with chess pieces, Quba Chess School, Azerbaijan. Sports schools, especially chess schools, are supported by the Government in Azerbaijan. In 2009 the President Ilham Aliyev signed an executive order initiating a state-supported chess development program.
