Aerial shots of the Gualaxo do Norte river, in the Camargos distric of Mariana, MG, Brazil • Brazil's biggest enviromental tragedy, happened in the landlocked state of Minas Gerais, launched 40 billion liters of iron-mining tails contaminated mud into the environment, polluting as far as the Atlantic Ocean, 400 km away, and the Doce river on its whole 850km length.
