Ethnic group Hmong in Sapa area, Vietnam

Various images of the ethnic group Hmong, living in northern Vietnam. They are a rural tribe, living around the area of Sapa town. Their income is mostly from farming rice in the rice fields terraces on the steep cliffs. They use also bulls. Lately tourism is developing there as they still live in little traditional villages, wearing their traditional clothes without roads connecting them, but paths. In this hilltribe women wear colorful costumes. Also every Sunday in Laocai, they have their big open street market were all the tribes from the area gather to exchange or sell their products.
