Tour of Lwow's Eaglets Cemetery
A view of the remaining parts of the Main Monument of Glory in the Defenders of Lwow Cemetery (also known as Cemetery of Lwow's Eaglets). Two stone lions, once an integral part of the colonnade of the Monument, were removed in 1971 by the Soviet authorities, and finally returned to Lwow Eagles' Cemetery on December 16, 2015. However, since that date, both sculptures are still in wooden casing. On Thursday, July 20, 2017, in Lviv, Ukraine. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
