Early morning images in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi district, Thailand. Colorful trader's boats in the floating markets, one of the main cultural tourist destinations in Asia. The market is located about 100 kilometres southwest of Bangkok in an area full of canals and intense exotic nature. The sellers offer mostly fruits and vegetables, souvenirs and Thai local food. The markets operates mostly for touristic reasons nowadays. Early morning the sellers offer to Buddhist monks food. The markets are popular since 1971 when the Tourism Organization of Thailand made the Lad Plee market a tourist attraction for foreigners. (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
