Tourism in Southeast Turkey
Sunrise, as seen from the ancient tomb Antiochus I, known as Nemrut Dagi, features stone thrones and statues of Greek and Persian gods, whose massive heads now sit on the ground after being toppled over by earthquakes. The area is a popular tourist destination, especially at sunrise, and is located north of Sanliurfa, Turkey. Photo taken on 18 March 2018. (Photo by Diego Cupolo/NurPhoto)
