Eviction in Madrid - January 29, 2014

52 year-old Andres Gonzalez Manzano gestures as he's being interviewed by television as he waits to be evicted in Madrid, Spain, Jan, 29th wednesday, 2014 Gonzalez is an ex construction worker with a 33% disability living with his 21 year-old unemployed son. Gonzalez has debt with a City Hall Housing and Land Company as he could not afford to pay a protected rent of euros 586 a month due to his only income being a state handout of euros 426 a month. The City Hall Housing and Land Company (EMVS) recently sold the building to Fidere a real estate developer who now claims the Andrés's home which is part of that building.
