Thessaloniki, Aftermath From The Clashes
The aftermath one day after the clashes between nationalists against the name deal between Greece and FYROM and the police. Broken traffic lights, rubbish bins destroyed or burnt, sculptures vandalized and many broken parts in facilities. Also the atmosphere during the day was very bad cause the tear gas that was still active one day after. The fights took place while the Greek PM was giving his yearly speech at the 83rd Thessaloniki International Fair. The city's landmark monument, The White Tower, stayed closed for 3 days for security reasons. Also the city's traffic was reduced one day after the fights. Thessaloniki, Greece - September 9, 2018.
