Daily Life in Borgarnes
Some girls play in the public pool of Borgarnes (Iceland) on 3 November 2018. The swimming pools are a usual meeting place for the inhabitants of Iceland. Borgarnes is a city located on a peninsula on the coast of Borgarfjörður in the Republic of Iceland. It is the capital of the Vesturland region. The city is located 60 kilometers north of the capital Reykjavik and is connected to the Hringvegur through the second largest bridge in Iceland. Perhaps the name of the city is a bit exaggerated since the population It has less than 2000 inhabitants. However, Borgarnes is a place to stop and enjoy rural Iceland and nature.
