At the foot of Mount Vestrahorn lies the town of Stokksnes famous for its kilometers of black beaches The area of the Southeast of Iceland, is a stretch of barely 200 kilometers with imposing glaciers such as Vatnajökull or Jökulsárlón and its lagoon in which huge icebergs float.The huge deserts of black sand that we can see in this area are the mark of tremendous clashes between fire and ice, that if cities we will see few an example is Höfn this small town, comparable to any European village is the most important city of this part of Iceland.
