Although it is not much larger than a small village, Höfn (Iceland) is the main city in the southeast of Iceland, dominated by the large glaciers, People walking at dusk in one of the main streets of Höfn. The area of the Southeast of Iceland, is a stretch of barely 200 kilometers with imposing glaciers such as Vatnajökull or Jökulsárlón and its lagoon in which huge icebergs float.The huge deserts of black sand that we can see in this area are the mark of tremendous clashes between fire and ice, that if cities we will see few an example is Höfn this small town, comparable to any European village is the most important city of this part of Iceland.
