Daily Life In Nicosia, Cyprus
On April 20 2019, the buffer zone is visible on a street in the capital city of Cyprus, Nicosia, or Lefkosa in Turkish, remains divided by a United Nations green line following the 1974 occupation of Turkish forces in Northern Cyprus. Today, it is a dynamic city with Turkish Cypriots living in it's northern half and Greek Cypriots living in the southern half.
