Together with Ferrero, it is one of the most famous Italian confectionery brands in the world. As far as the Italian ice-cream market is concerned, according to data from 2018, Gelati Motta (Froneri) products have a market share of 18%, in third place after Algida (Unilever), market leader with a share of 45%, and Sammontana, which has a market share of about 20%.
