Bulgarian Rose Production

Ali Yankov, a worker at the Intermed 1 Ltd. empties bags of roses harvested earlier in the day in preparation for the distillation process. The company produces organic, biodynamic and conventional rose oil and rose water, in addition to other products from herbs. The Rose valley in Bulgaria is one of the world's main producers of roses (for rose oil and rose water products) which are harvested in the Rose Valley during the period of mid May to mid June.
