Jaffna Palaly Airport-Inaugural Ceremony
Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Arjuna Ranatunga (3R) declared the commemorative block open on July 05, 2019, in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The total cost of the Jaffna Palali Airport Development project is Rs. 2,250 million. Accordingly, the Government is to invest Rs. 1950 million and Rs. 300 million has been given by the state of India as a loan. Jaffna Airport also is known as Palaly Airport and SLAF Palaly, is an air force base and domestic airport in the town of Palaly in Jaffna District, Northern Province, Sri Lanka.
