75th Anniversary Of Saint-Lo Liberation
A view of the WW2 shell entered into a wall of the Church of Our Lady in Saint Lo. Saint-Lo was destoyed during the Second World War, after American bombardments caused heavy damage in town (up to 95% of the city was destroyed) and a high number of casualties, which resulted in the martyr city being called "The Capital of Ruins". On Monday, July 8, 2019, in St-Lo, Normandy, France. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
