Police Unions Protest Against Working Conditions

Happening of the SGP Police Unit trade union where we see a demonstrator disguised as The Grim Reaper, the character embodying death, and others wear white masks with a tear of blood in the middle of the blue smoke, in reference to the number of police officers who committed suicide this year this Wednesday, October 2, 2019, during the police officers' demonstration in Paris at the call of the majority of police unions (including Alliance Police Nationale and SGP Police Unit) for the "Marche des colères" between the squares of the Bastille and the Place de la République. This historic demonstration day, which brought together more than 20,000 police officers, aimed to raise awareness of the working conditions and lack of resources of police officers, but above all of the historically high suicide rate and the number of unpaid overtime hours.
