Occupation Of The Place Du Chatelet By Extinction Rebellion
Green activists from the Extinction Rebellion movement, including one perched in a hammock, are participating in a General Assembly at one of the traffic jams on Monday, October 7, 2019, when several hundred green activists from the international movement Extinction Rebellion (XR) launched the occupation of the Place du Chatelet and the Bridge au Change in Paris to alert the population and the French and international authorities to the climate emergency in response to the governments' inaction to global warming.
