Occupation Of The Place Du Chatelet By Extinction Rebellion
Environmental activists make shelter from the rain during the night with large plastic tarpaulins and banners, one of which reads "We are all in the same boat" on Monday, October 7, 2019, when several hundred activists ecologist members of the international movement Extinction Rebellion (XR) launched the occupation of the Place du Chatelet and the Pont au Change in Paris in order to alert the population and the French and international authorities on the climate emergency in the face of inaction governments face global warming.
