Solidarity With Kurds People In Paris

French member of Parliament and candidate for Paris' mayoral election, mathematician Cedric Villani (CR) takes part on October 12, 2019 in Paris in a demonstration in support of the Kurds and against the Turkish offensive in Syria. On October 9, 2019, the Turkish military began its assault against Kurdish-held territory in northern Syria , pummeling with artillery and airstrikes. Kurds are rapidly evacuating the region and at least 24 people have been killed in northern Syria.
