Iraqi Canadians Protest In Support Of Protests In Iraq

Hundreds attended a rally in support of Iraqi protesters at Old City Hall in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on December 21, 2019. Iraqi Canadians protested in downtown Toronto to denounce the violence towards anti-government protesters in Iraq. At least 341 protesters have died in massive protests in Iraq since Oct. 1, 2019 and thousands have been injured. Iraqi security forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse crowds in Baghdad, killing one person.
