Firefighters Demonstrate In Paris

Uniformed firefighters set themselves on fire during the demonstration of this Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at the call of the Professional Firefighters' Unions, several thousand firefighters demonstrated in Paris between the Place de la République and the Place de la Nation in order to ask for the revaluation of the fire bonus and their retirement. Clashes with the police broke out along the route of the procession and at the end of the demonstration where a few hundred people tried to break a bridge bar, the riot police used tear gas and the new GM2L grenades to push them back.
